Vale is the fourth best company at which to start a career, according to young people. This is one of the findings of a study conducted by Brazilian human resources consultancy, Cia de Talentos, covering more than 50,000 university students and recent graduates between the ages of 18 and 27 in four countries: Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia.
The surveyed group rated Vale as having a good image in the market, a good work environment, scope for professional development and opportunities for an international career. The survey also found Vale to be the most followed company among young people on social networks. Regular announcements of job opportunities on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Orkut was one of the factors rated positively by interviewees.
