An important challenge for Inove is to stimulate business among our local suppliers. To this end, the program encourages integration with trade associations, governmental entities and large companies.
Inove holds a series of meetings and business events to bring together small and medium suppliers of large purchasing companies. In addition, the program creates mechanisms to reduce small and medium companies’ costs and help them to enter supply chains, as well as to encourage major suppliers to open operations in regions where Vale operates, with the support of local companies.
