The Companhia Portuária Baía de Sepetiba Terminal, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, exports iron ore produced by Vale, and is operated by the Companhia Portuária Baía de Sepetiba (CPBS), a wholly owned subsidiary.
The terminal has four stockyards and a pier that can handle ships of up to 230,000 dead weight tonnage (DWT), up to 315 meters long and with a beam of up to 50 meters. The terminal covers 100,000 m2.
