Before getting on board, it’s a good idea to take some small precautions to ensure your journey goes smoothly:

  • When you buy your ticket, check that all the details on it are correct, as it is not possible to change tickets after the day of travel.
  • In order to ensure you catch the train in good time, plan on arriving at the station at least 45 minutes before it is scheduled to depart.
  • Take care of your belongings and your ticket.
  • Don’t throw anything out of the window. Dispose of garbage in the colored selective trash cans located between the train cars.

Passengers have a right to:

  • Punctuality, safety, hygiene and comfort.
  • Ask for help to get on or off the train, if required.
  • Transport luggage weighing up to 35 kg and no more than 1 m long free of charge (in the luggage compartment).
  • Compensation for lost or damaged luggage.
  • A partial refund if, for some reason, the journey takes place on a train that does not meet contractual standards.
  • Receive a refund or change their ticket if they decide not to travel, provided that they give at least six hours’ notice.
  • Immediate and suitable assistance in the case of an accident.

Advice for when it’s time to embark:

  • Embark in a state of drunkenness.
  • Carry a weapon or any other object considered dangerous within the train.
  • Embark with animals, except in the case of guide dogs.
  • Transport very large objects or those that do not fit in the hand luggage compartment.
  • Try to board the train without a ticket or identity document.
  • Behave inappropriately for a public place.
