Vale operates passenger trains on the Vitória-Minas Railroad (EFVM) and the Carajás Railroad (EFC), transporting Brazilians across long distances in safety and comfort.
The trains offer passengers snack bars and restaurants, and there are exclusive cars for people using wheelchairs and those accompanying them. You can choose from executive class (with air conditioning and televisions) and economy class.
Automation and advanced technology
EFVM and EFC have operational control centers, where operators monitor the trains and decide on their routes. Locomotive engineers are in constant radio contact with the control center, and all communications are recorded 24 hours per day.
