Activities and operational units

We operate phosphate rock mines in the states of Minas Gerais, Goiás, São Paulo and Paraná.

• We produce phosphate rock in Tapira (Minas Gerais).
• We produce phosphate fertilizers in Uberaba (Minas Gerais).
• We produce phosphate rock and phosphate fertilizers in Araxá and Patos de Minas (Minas Gerais), Catalão (Goiás) and Cajati (São Paulo).
• We produce phosphate fertilizers in Guará (São Paulo).
• We produce phosphate and nitrogen fertilizers in Cubatão (São Paulo).
• We produce nitrogen fertilizers in Araucária (Paraná).

Taquari–Vassouras, in the state of Sergipe, is the only potash mine in Brazil. Its output is sold on the Brazilian market. The mine belongs to Petrobras, with whom we signed a 25-year lease in 1991.

Situated in the Sechura Desert, Bayóvar Mine produces low-cost phosphate rock. The operation encompasses a concentration plant, a 32-kilometer road and a port.
