In order to promote debate on human rights and focus management’s attention on the issue, in December Vale launched a Human Rights Guide for its operations in Brazil. Using simple, clear language, the document sets out guidelines and examples to help employees and managers to comply with our policy as they go about their work.
Subsequently, different versions will be produced in the other countries where Vale operates, with adaptations made in line with local contexts.
