Vale School is a Vale Foundation program that was developed by CEDAC, a community action organization, in partnership with stakeholders responsible for public education: municipal education, health and welfare secretariats, legal consultation councils, NGOs and specialist educational institutions. The aim is to promote improvements in education in the areas where Vale operates.
The program provides continuous teacher training to improve students’ education at public sector schools, from nursery to 5th grade. The program involves teachers, students, schools principals and vice-principals, education coordinators and school supervisors, as well as technicians at municipal education secretariats.
