That is why in 2009 our company launched the Vale Technological Institute (ITV, in Portuguese), an institution that seeks to create future alternatives through scientific research and the development of technologies in order to expand Vale’s knowledge and business frontiers in a sustainable manner.
The aim of the Vale Technological Institute is to coordinate Vale’s science and technology actions, with a focus on long-term research developed in partnership with the national and international scientific community.
