One of the aims of Vale’s work is to contribute to promoting and preserving local cultures in the regions where it operates. We support initiatives aligned with the concept of  “ethno-development” – in other words, the construction of a development model that respects the rights and interests of different ethnic groups.

Some examples of  Vale’s ethno-development initiatives are provided below:
